Your review of Kate's Crew is pretty accurate. The chemistry between Mike and Kate is already an established fact at the beginning of the story. If/when you read the other books in the series you will find that it is the perfect lead-in to the "crew" and they are an amazing family of loving and accepting men and women. She has a wonderful talent for drawing you into the lives of her characters and leaves you wanting more.
