Rush is beyond heart broken when Blaire left him. Now that she is back in town he will do what ever it takes to keep her there. He tries hard in the beggining to just be her friend as long as she will stay in town, but for him it is hard as he wants her back in his arms. Abbi Gines has a beautiful writing voice that you feel all the characters emotions.

Rush is still heart broken she left him. Now she is back in town he does not want her to leave.

"Rush Moved So Fast I didn't realize it until he was standing between me and the door. "I'm sorry. I was trying to be cool. I was trying to be careful but I cracked. "I'll do better. I promise. Go to Bethy's. Forget what I said. I'll be good. I promise. Just... just don't leave. Please."

The first time in his life he has found love.

"She's amazing. No... She's perfect. Everything about her is fucking perfect," I said aloud then shifted my gaze back to Meg. "I don't just lover her, she owns me. Completely. I'd do anything for her."

Woods is still a good friend and Rush still get's jealous.

Woods lifted his gaze from mine and a cold expression came over his face. "Go away. This is not what she needs right now." Woods said in a hard angry tone.

"Get your mother fucking hands odff her," Rush replied.

Teaser Tuesday prelude: Wait For You by J. Lynn

I loved everything about Wait For You by J. Lynn. One of the things I love about Wait For You is the journey from buiding there friendship before they have a relationship.  But it has to be done right and beable to keep me interested and not boring.  J. Lynn nailed it with Wait For You. Their friendship was a journey I loved reading about and her characters kept it going with cute, fun humor that never got old or broing.  

Cam is charming, fun and arrogant in a cute way. I love how he is persistent on asking her almost daily to go on date with him.

 

 

"I'm not going out with you, Cam."

 

"I didn't ask you at this moment, now did I?' One side of his lips curved up. "But you will eventually."

 

My eyes narrowed. "You're delusional."

 

"I'm determined."

 

"More like annoying."

 

"Most would say amazing."

 

 

Love his sense of humor.

 

"The Notebook? You own the notebook?"

 

Cam stared at me blankly. "What's wrong with that?"

 

"Oh, nothing is wrong with that. Its just such a... uh, chick flick."

 

"I'm confident enough in my masculinity and sexuality that I can say that Ryan Gosling is just dreamy in this movie."

 

My jaw hit the floor.

 

The blank expression slipped away and he started laughing. "I'm Joking. I don't own the notebook."

 

I am happy that once they got together Cam and Avery were true to their characters and kept up with their  fun personalities.

He kissed the center of my back then his lips were on the flare of my hip. Warm breath danced over my lower back and then he kissed my right cheek.

I giggled, wiggling.

"You know what they say about a guy who kisses a girl's ass? Literally?"

"He knows his place?"

"Ha. Ha." He swept my hair off my neck and kissed me there. "He's absolutely in love with the girl."



Teaser Tuesday Prelude: Saving Grace by Christine Zolendz

Finished Saving Grace (Mad World #2) and loved it. It was so much better than Fall From Grace (Mad World #1). Grace and Shane's relationship has angst but they do have their sexy and sweet moments.  Saving Grace was an intense read with some heart wrenching moments, kick butt twists and some LOL moments.

Grace does not hold back on her anger when she thinks Shane has gone back to heaven and she is stuck on earth.

 

"I Hope they staple his fucking wings back on."

 

Shane thinks Grace slept with one of his band members.  Catches her walking out of his friends room in the morning leaving to go home.

 

"Don't worry about locking the door behind you, we have easy ass like you coming in and out of  here all the time"

 

So much anger between Shane and Grace from misunderstandings. I love his caveman moves.

 

"Fuck you Shane!"

 

Before I could take my next breath, Shane's body slammed painfully into mine. He leveled his right shoulder into my stomach hard, swung me up in his arms and over his shoulder. He grabbed the back of my thighs and carried me through the hallway toward the Bone Room. I didn't have enough air in my lungs to scream.

 

The group loves to play drinking games and ones of those games played was Answer This. Loved this scene as it has some LOL moments. The one LOL moment I loved the most was when it was Shane's turn to answer. He just got out of jail for a misunderstanding and the question in the game asked by one of his band members Alex was "Where is the craziest place you have ever had sex?" Before Shane could answer, a drunk Alex butted in with this.

 

When it was Shane's turn, Alex laughed and said, "Please do not say jail cell, because I'll piss myself right here, dude."

 

 

Love it when the group finds out she is a virgin. Oh I love Grace, she can hold her own with Shane and the guys.

 

And what do I do? Well one of my best friends is a vibrator. It goes from Oh Yeah to Who the Hell Needs a Man in ten seconds flat."

 

Shane does have a jealous streak and has no problem getting in her personal space. Even though they are not actually a couple he is still not big on her going on a date.

 

"Don't let him touch you," he whispered as he leaned down and pushed the palms of his hands on the table on either side of me trapping me between his arms. I stopped breathing.

 

Grace will not let him in, she thinks she is broken. OMG...I loved all the angst between these two but the sweeter moments were the best.

 

Bringing his hands to my face, he leaned over me, lightly stroking my cheeks with his fingertips. "Then let me in, because I promise you, I will pick up every little broken piece of you, every single fucking piece, Grace, and for the rest of my fucking life I will put you back together...I'll make you whole again." 

 

Oh my.. I love a dirty talking hero and yes Shane sure knows how to talk dirty. Loved it!

 

He leaned in closer, but that low melodic voice of his could be heard crystal clear. "I'll tell you damn well what I want right now, Grace, I want to smother those beautiful nipples in honey and lick and suck them until you beg me to take you."

Well I am 38% into my kindle for Flight and loving every minute of it. Before Allie found out What Levi is they were different. It was more Levi trying to get to know Allie but Allie always pushed him away. She has sworn off guys becuase of old bad relationships. Now that she has found out what he is she is not pushing him away any more and he seems to be more into her. I am loving the build up to a relationship ( I Hope).

Levi is a smooth talker.

 

"I mean you told me you were from here, but don't most people our age want to explore new places?

 

"Why explore when you have everything you need right here?" His intense gaze impied he was talking about me rather than the city.

 

Once Allie finds out what he is. I found him to be sweet, caring and thinking of her needs to not push her any further.

 

"How long have you been out here?"

 

"Awhile." He straightened up and took a step towards me.

 

"Oh. You could have knocked..." I trailed off.

 

"I figured there was no need to push you anymore than I did last night. But I had to see you-to see if you were still reacting well," Levi said carefully, like he was treading on thin ice.

 

Loving how they see eachother different since he showed her what he is. He is now sweeter and feels connected to her.

 

He reached over and ran a finger down my cheek. "I'm glad. There's more I want to show you."

 

He is possessive of her especially when it comes to her name. Everyone calls her Allie but he will not.

 

Levi moved toward me, practically pinning me against the wall. "Your opinion always counts, but I already told you I'm not calling you what everyone else does. I'm going to have my own name for you."

 

He seems to be more intense with her now.

 

"Good, let's go." Still holding my hand, Levi led us to the elevator. We stopped several times to let other people on, but Levi never once took his eyes off me.

 

Love how he says something and means it but refers to something else. He is sure of himself.

 

"What makes you think you'll ever see me after this summer"

 

"You've had your taste Al. Even if you leave in August, you'll be back for more."

 

"And what are you referring to exactly?"

 

"The city." He paused to look at me. "Of course."

When they first meet Olivia thinks Cash is a stripper and he plays along. This is after she finds out he is not the stripper.

"You'd better close those lips before I'm tempted to kiss them and really give you something to be all hot and bothered about."

Found it sexy when Cash jumped over the bar.

With a grin, he plants his hands flat on the bar and lifts himself onto it, throwing his legs over and hopping down right beside me.

Well I already read The Wild Ones a few weeks back but loved it so much I thought I would share with you all, some of my favorite teaser and what I loved about the novel.

Love when Trick and Cami talk and tease eachother by saying one thing but really meaning another thing.

"The View around here is very nice for one thing. Rounded hills, lush valleys, gently-curving roads, tight, firm..turns." I look over at her from the corner of my eye and grin. "And sometimes there's a hint of strawberry in the air. Makes my mouth water."

It is nice to see the friendship build especially after her boyfriend pissed her off.

Without saying a word, I bend down and lift her legs, pulling them across my lap as I sit down.

"Here," I say, holding my hand out for the little bottle she's still clutching. She frowns, but she hands it over anyway. I shake the bottle again, like I've seen women do before, then I unscrew the cap. "Talk to me," I urge as I bend down to paint a bright red streak on her first toe.

Love how he is honest and lets her know once they take the next step there is no going back to being just friends.

He drops his head, his cheek pressed to mine, and he whispers in my ear. "If we go, we can't come back. Not ever. "Things will never be the same."
