There is a moment in the book that you either dislike,  like  or just fall madly in love with  the hero. For me when I fall madly in love with a hero it is at that one  moment they had me.

Brody you had me at....Valentine's Day

They had such busy lives and she hadn't seen him since Valentine's Day, when he he'd shown up at her door with flowers for her and Rennie, telling Rennie he'd never forget his two favorite woman.

**Sighs**...He is sweet to also bring her daughter flowers on Valentine's Day and then tell them "he'd never forget his two favorite woman."

You had me at: Wild Man

Brock baby you had me at... the kitchen scene

"No, " he bit off. "I was angry with you, seein' as I fucked my woman for the first fuckin' time, she made me a promise when my cum was still inside her and then just hours later she reneged on that promise. Now I'm here 'cause there's a goddamned for sale sign planted in your front lawn and I walk in here and see you lookin' like this so, gotta say, babe, I'm not angry. I'm fuckin' pissed."

Why:

I really can not give a reason why but for some reason during this kitchen scene with Brock and Tessa at this moment I fell in love with Brock. I actually had to read it a few times.  The whole kitchen scene was really intense.  Basically he is pissed because she promised him something but then she found out something about him and  was not happy about it. He  has given her time to get over it but she has not called  him months and he finds out she is a selling her house. He then goes to see her and notices she has changed her style.
