Unrestrained. Unrelenting. And completely undressed!

When her best friend disappears during Mardi Gras, microbiologist Claire Brookes is determined to find her. Her only lead is a bar called Once Bitten—a haven for the dark, melancholy and vampire-obsessed. And while Claire generally prefers science nerds over the Gothy children of New Orleans, something about the bar's tall, dark and delish bartender makes her mouth water….

Bar owner Rafe Moreau is pretty sure that there's more to Claire than uptightness and frumpy clothes. And as they delve further into the dark, seedy underworld of the Big Easy, Claire and Rafe turn to each other, discovering a sizzling hunger that won't be satisfied.

But will one taste be enough?

Relentless Seduction was 3 stars likeable novel. First I have to say I love the cover as it is sexy and would draw any ones attention.

I adore Rafe’s alpha male attitude with his yummy piercing. He is content with running his bar and every now and then having a one night affair with a tourist. His life is turn upside down the minute Claire walks in looking for her missing friend and eventually black mails him in helping her find her friend. She gets under his skin and he does not know how to deal with her. His parents died when he was young and he was left with his drunk grandfather who he ended up taking care of. He vowed to never get in a serious relationship as he feels they will eventually leave him. But the more time he spends with Claire the more he wants her. The chemistry is hot as well as the sex scenes.

Claire’s character at times did annoy me. I think it was more of the over usage of exclamation marks when not needed or just did not fit the scene. I liked that she was very stubborn and set on finding her missing friend. Because of her stubbornness she ended be a pain in the butt for Rafe. She never stayed where she was suppose to. Always running off to the worst places in town and it was Rafe who was always to the rescue.

The mystery part did at times drag for me and was easy to put down and pick back up. I was surprise to find out what happened to her friend did not see that coming. Then loved more of the twist and turns after.

ARC provided by NetGalley for an honest review.

  1. The cover is very eye catching :) Stories that drag too much, I get bored with. If I put it down, its not getting picked back up.

    Great review Capri :)
