TROPICAL HEAT

Penny Kline didn't come to Honduras on a pleasure trip. She's here to rescue her kidnapped niece, the only family she's got left. What she didn't plan on was walking into a covert ops mission---or being wrapped up in the hard-muscled arms of Rafe Ortega. The cool-as-ice operative's touch may get her all hot and bothered, but no man can have a hold on her heart until her niece is home where she belongs.

Even in the tropics, Alpha Security operative Rafe can take down the bad guys without breaking a sweat. Hostage extractions. Clandestine missions. Those are the things he's been trained to handle. Relationships? Not so much. But one look at this strong, sexy redhead and he's seized by a fierce urge to protect her at all costs. Now Penny and Rafe will have to up their game because they're about to go into a master criminal's lair without backup, and the danger---and passion---is about to explode . . .
Thoughts: Rafe and Penny were easy characters to fall in love with. As much as I adored Rafe I took a good liking to Penny. She can hold her own with anybody but at the same time have her weaker moments. That made her character feel real in certain situations. She is sassy and fun.

“No need to apologize to me, sweetheart. Let me know when and where and I’ll somehow manage not to crawl into a corner and hide.”

Rafe is protective of Penny but he is also gentle and caring. The best part of his character is how supportive he is to Penny. I loved his sense of humor especially in not so good situations.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go suction my lips to the man’s ass and see if we can get them back.”

These two had perfect chemistry with amazing sexual tension. They also worked so well together on their mission. I could not get enough of their flirty and fun banter.

"Is this your way of telling me you’re going to be touching my ass, Rafael Ortega? If it is, I should warn you that perk better go both ways.”

As much as I love main characters I also am a huge fan of having secondary characters in my reads. The men of Alpha Security have caught my attention.

(Logan) "That's if I can have children after that elbow drill. Shit. I think I need a medic, Kincaid."

“If it were an arm, leg, or even your head, I could be convinced to give you a hand, but I’ll be damned if I’m going anywhere near your junk…or your ass. You’re on your own, man,” said Chase Kincaid.

I had a good time reading Heated Pursuit. The flow was easy for me with enough action, suspense, romance, a few surprises I did not see coming and fun moments. Overall a feel good book.  I think I might of found a new Romantic Suspense series to get lost in.

Sweet Temptation: Wild Hunger by Chloe Neill

Sweet Temptation is a feature on Wickedly Delicious Book Blog. That centers around books that have caught my attention. Whether it be a quote, snippet, teaser, excerpt, synopsis or a review.

Wild Hunger by Chloe Neill
Series: Heirs Of Chicagoland #1
Genre: Urban Fantasy
Publisher: Berkley On August 14, 2018
As the only vampire child ever born, some believed Elisa Sullivan had all the luck. But the magic that helped bring her into the world left her with a dark secret. Shifter Connor Keene, the only son of North American Central Pack Apex Gabriel Keene, is the only one she trusts with it. But she's a vampire and the daughter of a Master and a Sentinel, and he's prince of the Pack and its future king.

When the assassination of an ambassador brings old feuds to the fore again, Elisa and Connor must choose between love and family, between honor and obligation, before Chicago disappears forever.

Thoughts: I have seen Chicagoland Vampires series around but have yet to read them. This seems to be a spin off from that series. I am liking the idea of a Vampire heroine and a Shifter hero. I read the prologue on Chloe Neill website and thought it was adorable.

Are You Fan Of Chicagoland series? Are you eagerly waiting for the first Heirs Of Chicagoland?

Even professional killers need vacations, but for Victor Faust, his vacation in Venezuela is about more than relaxation and time alone with Izabel Seyfried. It is a chance for him to come clean to Izabel: to tell her the truth about why he sent her to Italy with his brother, the truth behind his interest in Nora Kessler, and about his knowledge of Izabel’s child with her former captor. But before Victor can spill his soul, reality proves that for some killers, vacations are just pipe-dreams.

Attacked and kidnapped, Izabel finds herself stuffed in a suitcase, while Victor later wakes up imprisoned in a cage. In any other situation, Victor would find a way out and save himself and the woman he loves—but not this time. When the identities of their kidnappers are revealed, Victor loses all hope, and begins the mental process of accepting his and Izabel’s last moments together. And Izabel’s final moments of life.

As if his circumstances are not complicated enough, members of Vonnegut’s Order are finally closing in on Victor. And when they do, he comes face-to-face with someone else he once knew and loved, who could either help him, or make a grave situation much worse. Victor’s past has finally caught up with him: the women he has cared for, loved, and killed; the families he has destroyed; the unforgivable crimes he has committed. And now he must face the consequences, and pay the ultimate price for absolution.

But when it is all over, Victor may not have the strength to pick up what is left and move on. Because the event changes him. Because love changed him. And because, unlike before when he thought it is was for the best, he cannot imagine a life without Izabel in it.

Thoughts: I needed to know all about the man Behind The Hands That Kill. I got that and so much more with present to past through out that fit perfectly with the plot. I loved that I got to experience his past instead of being told.

Not only is Victor and Isabel love tested but also my love for his character as well. He has done many bad things I was able to look past but one particular scene I had a hard time with. As a huge fan of In The Company Of Killers I know J.A. Redmerski is not one to hold anything back with her characters. I should of known she could never be that cruel.  I also should of known that not everything is what it seems to be when it comes to Victor. He always has a reason for his doings. Thankfully the scene I had a hard time with was handled. Because right along with Izabel I would of not been able to look past that.

I had a serious girl crush on Izabel. She has come a long way since the beginning of this series. Her character shined and showed some growth that I understand why Victor loves her.

There are a some new characters introduce. I am not sure about one of them but the other did catch my attention. There was a lot going on in Behind The Hands That Kill. This does leave different directions this series can go in the future.  Best read in order.

Review: Kill Without Mercy by Alexandra Ivy

Kill Without Mercy by Alexandra Ivy
Series: ARES Security #1
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Publisher: Zebra on December 29, 2015
Pages: 368
Format: Paperback
Source: Bought

From the hellhole of a Taliban prison to sweet freedom, five brave military heroes have made it home—and they’re ready to take on the civilian missions no one else can. Individually they’re intimidating. Together they’re invincible. They’re the men of ARES Security.

Rafe Vargas is only in Newton, Iowa, to clear out his late grandfather’s small house. As the covert ops specialist for ARES Security, he's eager to get back to his new life in Texas. But when he crosses paths with Annie White, a haunted beauty with skeletons in her closet, he can't just walk away—not when she’s clearly in danger…

There’s a mysterious serial killer on the loose with a link to Annie’s dark past. And the closer he gets, the deeper Rafe’s instinct to protect kicks in. But even with his considerable skill, Annie’s courage, and his ARES buddies behind him, the slaying won’t stop. Now it’s only a matter of time before Annie’s next—unless they can unravel a history of deadly lies that won’t be buried.
Thoughts: Alexandra Ivy is not a new to me Author as I have enjoyed her Vampire series, Guardians Of Eternity. It has been some time since I read them and was curious how she would do in a different genre. Kill Without Mercy is the first book in her Romantic Suspense, ARES Security series. It was not a big hit with me but at the same time it was not a bust either.

The suspense was good for the first half and awesome in the second half. Earlier in the book was easy to put down and pick back up. Once the suspense really started to kick in more I could not flip my pages fast enough.

I could not connect with  Rafe and Annie as a couple. They had no chemistry or never felt a spark with them. I have no idea what they seen in each other. This is going to sound weird but the only time I had  a connection with them is when both trying to figure out who the killer is and how is he/she linked to her past.

Noontime Martini: Have you ever dislike a heroes nickname?

I would love to have a Girls Lunch Date with a Dirty Martini and Talk  Bookish and Non-Bookish with you all. Well since I can not have that, Noontime Martini was created.

Hi everyone. I was going through some old reviews to see how I use to write them. I came across a review from one of my favorite authors and forgot I even read this book. Sadly it was not a hit for me and I am sure this is my reasoning for not remembering. I love when a hero has a nickname. I feel like I am getting an extra treat when this happens. I was not a fan of this heroes nickname but that is not the reason for my miss with this book. I got to thinking if anybody else has ever came across a heroes nickname that was not appealing.

Series: Colorado Mountain #5

An old flame rekindled . . .

Zara Cinders always knew Ham Reece was the one, but he wasn't interested in settling down. When she found someone who was, Ham walked out of her life. Three years later, Zara's lost her business, her marriage, and she's barely getting by in a tiny apartment on the wrong side of the tracks. As soon as Ham hears about Zara's plight, he's on her doorstep offering her a lifeline. Now, it will take every ounce of will power she possesses to resist all that he offers.

Ham was always a traveling man, never one to settle down in one town, with one woman, for more time than absolutely necessary. But Ham's faced his own demons, and he's learned a lot. About himself, and about the life he knows he's meant to live. So when he hears that Zara's having a rough time, he wants to be the one to help. In fact, he wants to do more than that for Zara. A lot more. But first, he must prove to Zara that he's a changed man.
I assumed going into Jagged the heroes nickname is Ham from the blurb. I could never pass up a Kristen Ashley novel. She is the queen of delicious alpha male heroes. Graham Reece is a sexy name for a hero. Personally I would of loved Reece as his nickname. Not a piece of meat. His nickname for the heroine is Cookie. I am thinking these nicknames were meant to sound cute and funny. Everybody has different taste and I am sure many have loved these nicknames.

Grab a coffee, tea or cocktail and lets chat.

A man who shoots first and asks questions later…

Most people would take an all-expenses-paid trip to the beach in a heartbeat. Garrett Kelly only accepts to keep tabs on Sarah Daniels, who’s in hiding after witnessing a murder by Marcus Lattimer, her half-brother—and a personal enemy of KGI. This gig may be beneath a disciplined soldier like Garrett, but if he gets a shot at Lattimer, it will all be worth it…

…and the ultimate moving target.

But Garrett hadn’t counted on falling for Sarah. He’d considered seduction as a tactical maneuver, but when he glimpses Sarah’s dark past, he feels an urgent desire to keep her safe—even after she disappears on him. Garrett doesn’t know exactly who, or what, Sarah’s running from, but whatever it is, she’s running for her life…

Thoughts: Hidden Away was another winner for me in Maya Banks KGI series. Who would ever thought that grouchy Garrett could be so sweet and loveable. The bag of books and wine scene had me swooning. Best part of the book for me was the slow burn romance. The island setting was perfect and different from the other books. Like with others in this series get some action and humor. Maya Banks knows how to write family in this series. They never take away from the story line as they are part or it. The Kelly family and friends are fun and realistic.

College drop-out Roxy Cumberland moved to New York with dreams of becoming an actress, but her dwindling bank account is quickly putting the kibosh on that fantasy. To make some quick cash, she signs up to perform singing telegrams. Her first customer is a gorgeous, cocky Manhattan trust-funder if she ever laid eyes on one. And what could be more humiliating than singing an ode to his junk, courtesy of his last one night stand? Maybe the fact that she's dressed in a giant pink bunny costume…

After a night out to celebrate winning his last case, lawyer Louis McNally the Second isn't prepared for the pounding in his head or the rabbit serenading him from the front door. But the sassy wit and sexy voice of the girl behind the mask intrigue him, and one look at her stunning face—followed by a mind-blowing kiss against his doorjamb—leaves Louis wanting more.

Roxy doesn't need a spoiled rich boy who's had everything in life handed to him on a Tiffany platter. But there's more to Louis than his sexy surface and he's determined to make Roxy see it...even if it means chasing her all over NYC.
Thoughts: Chase Me has to be my favorite, cutest first time meet with the hero/heroine. Tessa Bailey books are my go to when in need of a easy read with delicious heroes.

Roxy and Louis were so cute together. They had fun banter, playful flirting, great chemistry and some hot sexual tension going on. It was refreshing to read about a striving actress heroine and her reasons.

Her friends / room mates and his friends were fun all so different in personalities. I enjoyed all their page time too. They all had me smiling.

1. Louis and his friends talking. After Louis first meeting with Roxy he does not know anything about her but wants too. She was his singing telegram about his penis from his drunken night before with a one night stand. Good fun friend banter.

"Yeah, how’s that conversation going to go?" Russell laughed. "Oh, I know. 'Hey, girl who wrote a song about my dick? I’d like to introduce that dick to another girl. Show a dude some love?"

"You are an actual idiot"

"Both of you, please. Shut up." Louis rubbed a hand over his unshaven jaw.

2. Loved their good chemistry and playful flirting.

"Thank you." She started to leave but turned back. "You're not the only one who’s been thinking about that kiss, you know.”

He trapped a groan in his throat. “I’m standing right here, beautiful. Come get another.”

Again, the green in her eyes disappeared momentarily. “I think you know I’m going to make you work harder than that for it.”

“I’m counting on it.”

She squared her shoulders and faced the reception area. “Bye, Louis.”

“Bye, Roxy.”

***Recommended for 18 years and over***
Jaeger Dalton wants the land that was promised to him.
Phoenix Ward isn’t about to let anyone take Freedom Run away from her.
He’ll protect what’s his.
She’ll protect what’s hers.
Jaeger is an arrogant ass, but he wants nothing more than Phoenix.
Phoenix is stubborn and headstrong, and she wants Jaeger out of her life.
Her father lost the family farm to gambling debts, but Jaeger isn’t the only one who has a claim to the property.
Sometimes it’s best to let things go.
But sometimes it’s better to fight until the very end.
Thoughts: It breaks my heart I am actually not finishing Grit. After reading the blurb that seemed refreshing in a Biker Romance that after awhile the plots seem to be all the same I had to try a sample.  I read the sample and was hooked from the beginning that I had to buy it. I fell hard for Jaeger and Phoenix. Both strong headed characters. Yes he is a ass at times, tell things how they are, does not sugar coat anything but it always flowed with the plot. He does have a softer side with his actions when it comes to her as she also has a caring side as well. I loved how she would challenge him but does not do it on purpose. When he is being an ass I loved that she has no problem putting him in his place.

My issue I had was the over the top "suck me off" remarks. It seems that is all the hero wants and says. Here and there is fine as I do love my dirty talking heroes but oh my goodness it was so overdone I could not take it. It really was ruining the flow of the book for me. It is to the point him just making remarks about "suck me off" not even during a sexual scene. Seriously they could be having a fight or just a normal conversation with her walking away and with him telling her "suck him off", well those are not his exact words but I am sure you get it. So I called it quits 58% in the middle of a  sex scene.

Samantha Wilde will do anything to be seen as a serious reporter. She's tired of writing articles about blemish concealer or why Goldie Hawn has aged so well. She now has her chance. Go down to Black Fall's and find out who killed Johnny Fox, ex-VP of the Black Skulls MC.

When she goes undercover and meets Asa Boone she gets in way over her head. The tattooed, intense, muscled biker is utterly delicious in every way possible and the best sex of her life. One taste and she's addicted. She needs more. But she know's that Asa is hiding something and when she finds out the truth she has to make the most important decision of her life. Completely destroy the man she has fallen for or be recognized as the reporter she has always craved.

Full length stand alone.

Thoughts: Not going to lie but Asa sexy cover got me clicking for more info. I was all ready for an intense read with Asa. After reading the awesome blurb I just had to read it as soon as I could. A reporter that goes undercover in a Motorcycle Club sounded refreshing in the biker romance world. The extreme I was looking for was between the hero and heroine as he would not know she was under cover for a while. That is not what I got.

First off  Asa the hero finds out in their first meeting that Samantha the heroine is a reporter but the rest of the MC does not know. Even though Asa knows she is a reporter I was still giving it a try as I assume the plot will be about his club not knowing.  I still enjoyed the begining and loved his character. He was intense but also had a laid back vibe going on. The sexual tension was off the charts hot. Well liking his character was short lived.

Second off I was on the fence of Samantha. There was just something about her that I could not connect with. But I was willing to give her character a try. Well her character was also short of lived.

All it took was a poorly written first sex scene for me to call it quits. Asa was so out of character. He slaps the heroine during sex. I took it as he wants to rough her up a bit so she will not continue her story with the MC. You know scare her away to protect her from the MC.  It could be he likes his sex rough. I do not know as I did not finish the book. It did not help that Samantha  said "I love you" right after she "peaked over the edge of ecstasy" right after they had sex for the first time. They have known each other for a few days. Even she was thinking wow that is too soon.

Rough Justice by Sarah Castille
Series: Sinner's Tribe Motorcycle Club #1
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Pages: 385
Format: Kindle

From bestselling author Sarah Castille comes a scorching new series featuring red-hot, hard-riding bikers and the women who can’t help but love them…

IT TAKES A GOOD, STRONG WOMAN

Raised in a motorcycle gang, tough, beautiful Arianne Hunter has always dreamed of a normal life. But no sooner does she escape her father’s domineering grasp than she wakes up to find herself in a rival gang’s clubhouse—at the mercy of the dangerously sexy Jagger Knight.

TO TAME A MAN WHO’S HELL ON WHEELS.

The alpha leader of the notorious Sinner’s Tribe, Jagger Knight is all muscle, all biker, and all man. But somewhere inside this hard tattooed outlaw, Arianne senses a kindred spirit—and she can’t ignore their tempestuous attraction. Can she beat him at his own game in a revved-up blaze of glory? Or will their passion spark a war that’s the end of the road for them both?
Thoughts: It has been some time since I read Rough Justice. As I am trying to catch up on my reviews from my long blog hiatus I realized I did a meme for Rough Justice but never did my review. While I am always looking for a new Biker Romance to win me over I still think about Rough Justice. It has everything I love in my biker reads. Gritty feel when needed and not over the top with eye rolling shocker moments. MC drama with action. Alpha Male hero that is protective but also can be gentle when needed. Brotherhood feel and fun banter with the club members.

Jagger was such an interesting character. He is calm, in control of everything and everyone around him. Loved that he does not disrespect woman.  He is one to use his brains before his fist in certain situations. But make no mistakes  because someone pushes him too far he has no problems giving a good ass whipping. Jagger made my book boyfriend list and fell hard for his character. When he loves he loves hard.

Arianne ~ "Why would you care what happened to me? That's all in the past."

Jagger bent down and touched his forehead to hers. "Because you're mine. And 'mine' means you have my protection. 'Mine' means I'll look after you. It means nothing happens you don't want to happen and no one touches you without your consent. It means your life is in my hands and I will do everything in my power to ensure you are safe and secure and your needs are met. It means something happened to you that twisted your perception so bad, you look at us and you see only them. I'll make that right. I'll give you justice. I'll give you back whatever was taken from you."

Arianne I loved her character and she was perfect for Jagger. She knows the biker life but her life was so different from how  Sinner's Tribe MC treat their woman. She knows nothing but how bad her dad the president of a rival MC and his members treated her and their woman. She can hold her own in the biker world but at the same time know when she can not. She is his equal and has his back. All she has left for family is her brother and she wants so badly to save him from falling in their father's   footsteps. But the problem is he has already started falling in their dads footsteps. My heart ached for her as she was so determined to save and help her brother.

Sweet Temptation / Lusting For Covers: Under Fire by Scarlett Cole

Lusting for Covers is a weekly meme, held on Sunday, that allows bloggers to share their current cover obsession with fellow book lovers. This meme is hosted by TBQ @ TBQ'S Book Palace

I am also combinding my Sweet Temptation Feature with Lusting For Covers this week. Sweet Temptation is a feature on Wickedly Delicious Book Blog. That centers around books that have caught my attention. Whether it be a quote, snippet, teaser, excerpt, synopsis or a review.

Under Fire by Scarlett Cole
Series: Love Over Duty #1
Publisher: St. Martin's Paperbacks
Genre: Romantic Suspense

HE CAN TAKE THE HEAT.

Hot, hard-bodied Sixten Rapp is a former SEAL who’s raring to begin his brand-new civilian life. He and his Navy “brothers” start a security firm that offers the kind of services only a team of military-trained professionals can provide. But nothing prepared Six for his new client: an innocent woman on a mission to improve thousands of lives. . . unless someone takes hers first.

CAN SHE HANDLE THE FLAMES?

Dr. Louisa North knows time is against her as she tries to create a “miracle” medical treatment for a disease with no known cure, until she creates a sample so powerful that the wrong people want to use it as a chemical weapon. At first, Six is unwilling to accept Louisa as his client. But soon he realizes that the danger is real and that there’s much more to this plain-Jane scientist…including a burning passion between them that neither of them can resist. And now that an enemy is on Louisa’s trail, Six will do whatever it takes to protect her—or die trying.

Thoughts: I would  have no problems visualizing a hot, hard bodied Sixten Rapp while reading Under Fire.  Navy "brothers" that start a security firm has got me wanting this soon. Usually with former military books you get that comradeship with the team I just loved to read about.

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a great week. Sorry for not posting my weekly recap last week. I decided to drop my tired butt on the couch, spend some family time binge watching Game Of Thrones S7. We have not had HBO for a few years so the only time we get to watch the awesome Game Of Thrones is when we get a free weekend. Daenerys Targaryen (Dany or Khaleesi) and her dragons are badass.  This has got to be my favorite season. I will just put this out there yes Jon Snow is all mine.

I was excited for my book haul the last few weeks. I found some interesting books from some bloggers I follow that all had great reviews. If want to check out their reviews, click on the link above the books posted.

She knows what he’s like on Boston’s mean streets. Now she’s going to find out if he’s got some heart.

Lucas Donahue is not ashamed of his criminal past, but after a brief stint in prison, he’s ready to go legit and live a normal life. The problem is, no one leaves the gang without permission—even if he is one of the boss’s top men. Plus someone’s placed a hit on him. And then there’s that feisty little bartender who’s going to cause him even more trouble.

Heidi Greene knows to keep her distance from a ladies’ man like Lucas—even if she can’t keep her eyes off him. When he rescues her from an attack in the alley outside her bar, she’s forced to stay by his side for safety. But the longer she spends time with him, the greater her chances are for getting hurt in more ways than one.

Thoughts:  I had so much fun reading Lucas and Heidi as a couple. They are forced in a fake relationship after he rescues her from an attack from a rival gang. The banter was fun between them. The sexual tension was great. They had the best chemistry that Lucas sees but Heidi does not want to admit it. This leads to some push and pull with the them. Heidi wants to sleep with him and Lucas will not until she admits they have good chemistry.

I enjoyed their characters as individuals. Both are strong-willed characters but at the same time know when to give in. I fell hard for Lucas. He is a true alpha male I just love to read about. The kind that is protective but at the same time is sweet, caring, not all talk and knows when he is wrong and can admit it. Heidi was fun, sassy and a smartass. I enjoyed her more because she likes him for all his flaws and is not ashamed of him.

Written in 1st dual POV that is not repetitive. I loved being in both the main characters heads. Few surprises that I did not see coming with the plot.

Quote-Tastic:
Had a little giggle  moment with this scene. They are on a fake date at a baseball game. She hates baseball, crowds and dates. She was not a fan of going and was in a pouting mood before they left.

Fine. I think this is stupid. Why are we even bothering with the act? No one believes it. Going to watch a bunch of grown men in tight pants playing with their tiny balls isn’t going to make anyone feel differently, let alone those guys.”

Laynie

Smile when you’re happy, cry when you’re sad and don’t ever be afraid to try something new. These are the words I live by. We only get one shot at this life, and I intend to live the best one I can. I had it all growing up. Popularity, beauty, great friends and a perfect family. But then one day, it all changed – now I’m blind. I’ve never let that stop me though. Life is an adventure and I believe in making the best out of every moment.

I spend my days with a job I love, online friends and a sexy new book boyfriend every week. I know in my heart that someday, my own prince charming will come along and appreciate me for exactly who I am – I won’t settle for anything less. Meeting Tease seems like the beginning of my fairy tale … until he opens his mouth.

Tease

I don’t trust people – ever. Every single person I’ve ever loved has contributed, in one way or another, to the shit show that is my life. Keeping everyone I meet at arm’s length, I work hard at being the star of most people’s nightmares. People think I’m a monster and honestly – they’re right.

Laynie’s beauty is what caught my eye, but her personality is what held it. Laynie’s the only person to ever see past my appearance and break down the walls I’ve worked so hard to build. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her. When things heat up with a rival club, and Laynie gets caught in the crossfire, I will unleash hell on earth to protect the woman who makes me want to trust someone again. When bullets start flying and bodies start piling up, keeping her safe may be the last thing I ever do.

***Note: This book contains violence, strong language and descriptive sexual situations. It is intended for readers over the age of 18.

Thoughts: I am late on my  reviews and Tease was on my book boyfriend list for 2017.  He is a delicious alpha male biker who is moody,  broody and trust no one because of his past.  What I loved most was his actions with Laynie. Through out the novel he did not think twice about just grabbing her hand or putting her hand on his lower back to help guide her. He never felt sorry for her or acted different around her because of her blindness.

Laynie had the best personality and great out look on life. Instead of feeling helpless or sorry for her self when she lost her sight she decided to live life to the fullest. She does not think he is a monster. He is comfortable around her. Since her accident her family treats her differently. They think she is fragile and are still uncomfortable around her. She can hold her own with his moods.

“That’s awesome.  We’ve kissed twice, and both times, I was amazing!  You’re a lucky guy.”

They made a perfect couple. Opposites on their out look on life. She really needed someone that would not treat her different and he needed someone to show him how to really live.
