Troy and Ruby  will always be that special couple for me. They are the first couple I read about in the Line Of Duty Series (His Risk To Take #2). It was their instant chemistry and Tessa's Bailey beautiful writing voice that had me hooked on Line Of Duty Series.

 

Troy is true alpha male. His need to protect Ruby is putting their relationship in a bit of trouble. Troy needs to be in control in and out the bedroom. Ruby does not want someone controlling her outside of the bedroom.

 

Troy tried to pull her close, but she evaded him. "Answer me.  Will you insist on treating me like I'm breakable even if it means losing me?"

His head fell forward on a weary sigh. "If it comes down to a choice between your safety, your life, and keeping you as my girlfriend, I'd keep you safe every time.  I'm sorry.  It's how I'm built, Ruby."

Ruby swiped at the tear rolling down her cheek.  "What about how I'm built?"

 

Here is my issue with Riskier Business Troy and Ruby are having relationship issues and it is due to drama surrounded them. I found that their issues were cleaned up too nicely. I wanted more time with them to solve their problems. I loved the action/drama plot line going on but I needed more balance. I loved  where Tessa Bailey is taking this series what sounds interesting with Bowen. I did want a little bit more of Bowen but that is just me being greedy. Just makes me want his story more.
