Synopsis by Goodreads
Trevor Mayson had his life planned out - make the family business successful and play the field for a few more years before eventually settling down. Then he sees her. Liz Hayes was beautiful, shy and everything that he could ever want...but she didn't fit into his plans. After Trevor painfully rejects her, Liz finally starts to move on, but Trevor is finding it difficult to truly let her go. It seems the more he tries to stay away, the more intense his feelings for her become. Like a stretched rubber band, he can only take so much before snapping.
Liz Hayes is done waiting for Trevor and isn't interested in getting her heart broken by him again, but Trevor is making it difficult for her to forget him when he shoves his way back into her life.
Can Trevor prove to her that he is worth falling in love with again, and is he ready to change his life plan to let her into his heart?

It is so easy to fall in love with Aurora Rose Reynolds alpha male heroes. Trevor does not know how to do relationships. He does want to be involved with Liz but knows he has no chance with her. He messed up with her once already and does not want to do it again. So their friendship starts before moving on. He is relentless and does not take no for an answer. Had a few giggle moments with them.
Liz has some issues with her family that does prevent her from moving forward with Trevor. I loved that he was gentle, sweet and patient when needed.
Love that he still has a close friendship with November and how they love to tease her husband Ash. Love the brothers together. Look forward to Cash and the woman who will be able to bring him down to his knees.

I do love a confident Trevor.
“This is going to happen."
"What?" I ask, my eyebrows drawn together in confusion. His finger comes up and skims down the center of my face, forehead to chin.
"You and I, , we're going to happen.”

Confident heroes can be so fun especially when they screw up but figure it out and go after the girl.
ReplyDeleteTrevor was a fun hero.
DeleteI agree with Sophia! I also think I should note this series down because I have a feeling I could really enjoy it ;)
ReplyDeleteIt was an easy read.
DeleteOh now I like that. Confidence is very sexy :) I've not tried her books but it does sound like I could get into them :)
ReplyDeleteHer books so well with me. Easy reads not a lot of conflicts very minimal angst. Her heroes are yummy alphas that are not over the top. Also fit with storyline. Heroines and secondary characters are likable.
