Enjoyable hot read with a yummy dirty talker and fun banter. I have to admit I have a little girl crush on Skyler. She is persistent when she wants something and that something is Gage. I loved her determination to get Gage to have a one night stand with her. It was refreshing to see a heroine who goes after what she wants. Love that she is one to start all the fun banter as she is spunky when trying to get her way.  She is in an annoying rut sexually  and wants to break free. Since Gabe is not into commitments he is the perfect guy for her to let loose.

 

Gage's character I adored. He is blunt and to the point. For his reasons he does not do relationships. He is a devoted brother who if anyone was in his shoes would most likely given up. Loved the boys club feel with his nightclub co-partners and friends. He might not want to get close to Skyler but his actions showed he does. It was the littlest things that got me swooning over him. 

 

I have mixed feelings on the sex scenes. I love playful in my bedroom scenes but at times I felt it was over the top talking and I do not mean the good dirty talking. I loved his dirty talking mouth but Skyler was at times a little too much for me. I felt some parts of these scenes were a bit odd.

 

I am curious about Reed and his story in One Night of Scandal (After Hours #2).
