His Secrets Can Destroy Her

From the moment Josie laid eyes on sexy, mysterious Shane Dean, she was in love. Their desire ignited a passionate affair, and within weeks, Shane had slipped a ring on her finger. It seemed her every fantasy was coming true . . . until her new husband disappeared without a trace. Now, two years and one broken heart later, Josie is shocked by the hospital calls: Shane has been found . . . at a crime scene with no memory of how he got there.

Her Love Can Save Him

Shane can't remember the blue-eyed angel at his bedside—or who he even is—but he knows something isn't right. His hearing is razor sharp, his physical strength incredible, and the urge to protect Josie overwhelming. For powerful enemies are hunting him, and Josie is the key to discovering why. As Shane struggles to unravel his past, dangerous new truths come to light. Can he protect the only woman he's ever loved? And can Josie trust a man she thought she knew—one who carries such a deadly secret?

Rebecca Zanetti has done it again with another hit novel. You know a author is going to make it big when they can write well written novels in different genres. Rebecca Zanetti wowed me with her Paranormal Romance, loved her Contemporary Romance and now she has wowed me with her Romantic Suspense.

The Prologue was a brilliant way to setting up Forgotten Sins. It gives you a little insight to Shane and his brothers Matt, Nathan and Jory’s life. It does not tell you exactly what is going on with them but you have an idea of what it possibly could be. Readers are in the dark as much as Shane is about remembering his past. The pacing of Shane remembering his past is well done.

Shane can not understand why he would leave his wife for two years. Not only does he want to find out about his past but he needs to know why he left her, because his mind might not remember her but his body sure does. For some reason the last two years he can not remember even when his memories are coming back about his past with his brothers and Josie. Loved Shane’s character with his Alpha male attitude. He has to protect who he loves and his family, it is in his nature. He does not threaten he acts when any harm is done with Josie.

Josie needs to know why he left her, where he has been the last two years. She needs answers not some overbearing protector. She needs to know who she married. Loved her feistiness and backbone and knows just what to say to get her way with Shane.

Shane is different now, he does not always have control around her and shows his feelings more. At times he still treats her like she is fragile and delicate like she is made out of glass. She wants him to see the real her, the woman who could be his match. He is more dominate in the bedroom that leaves to some hot fan-yourself-sex scenes.

The brotherly love is perfect. Matt and Nathan are a hoot. All brothers have their own personalities. They all play a big role in Forgotten Sins but never take away from Shane and Josie story. Please tell me Jory is still in the picture. I think there is more to Jory than what the brothers know. I still feel like the last two years with Shane was left a little open and hope in future novels it continues with Jory.

The action was perfect I felt like I was watching a movie. For a Romantic Suspense I felt the romance was 40% and Action 60%. I tend to usually like half and half but it worked for me considering Shane had no memories. For me it flowed great with the plot.

Forgotten Sins is a definite page turner with tons of twist and surprises I did not see coming. I needed to know Who is Shane, where has he been the last two years and why did he leave Josie. Forgotten Sins is a Keeper.  Love the sexy cover and the title is perfect with the story line. If never read Rebecca Zanetti novels before I would definitely buy Forgotten Sins for the cover and synopsis. Both cover and synopsis portray the novel perfect. Forgotten Sins is a great start to a kick butt series. I can not wait to see who is up next in Sins Brothers and their cover.

  1. Phew I could stare at that cover all day..seriously I've just been sitting here drooling on my keyboard! I haven't read many romantic suspense novels, but this book sounds like a good one to start with!

    Great review :)

    1. Thanks Amy. I know the cover is drool worthy. Even better when reading and picturing Shane as the cover model. I think this would be a great start to dive into Romantic Suspense
