First published as a five-part e serial novel, Anything He Wants inflamed imaginations everywhere and became a national bestseller.  Now available for the first time ever as a complete book, this edition contains never-before-released scenes and special bonus material. Don’t miss this erotic tale of  a powerful billionaire who always gets what he wants and the young woman who’s about to enter his exclusive realm--a world of glittering opulence and all-consuming passion, where she’ll explore the darkest reaches of her own desire.

Lucy Delacourt's temp position isn't quite her dream job but it pays the bills. The highlight of her day is riding the elevator in the mornings with a handsome stranger. Tall, dark, and sexy as hell, Lucy knows he's way out of her league, but a girl can look, right?

Everything changes the day the stranger seduces her. Completely out of character, she yields without a fight, but she has no idea her wanton acts with a man whose name she doesn't know will change her life forever. Because the sexy stranger is none other than Jeremiah Hamilton, billionaire CEO of Hamilton Industries, and one taste isn't nearly enough to satisfy his need.  As the billionaire pulls Lucy deeper into his world of high stakes business deals and ruthless takeovers, he demands nothing less than her complete surrender.  But even as enemies seek deadly revenge against him, she’ll discover that her greatest threat is falling for her fiercely guarded boss…and yielding to her own darkest needs.

Review:

I am huge fan of Erotic novels. But unfortunately was not always feeling Anything He Wants. Yes some of the scenes are scorchers but was not feeling any of their emotions just seemed like sex nothing more.

It was a very hard decision to rate this novel. At times I felt it was 2 star so-so as the characters and the writing was a bit flat. Starts off ok but once they leave for their trip the novel did at times seem to drag. Even though the middle of book was a little slow, I thought Jeremiah was a sweetheart, apologizing to Lucy for an incident at the charity event, showing his anger when by throwing the glass against the wall when she was poisoned, then caring for her and taking to the place she loves the most and sticking up for her when his mother was being mean.

But bang things started picking up especially around 75% into the book, it started getting good with a lot of twist and turns that it was a 3 stars likable book.

But then out of the blue it ended with a cliffhanger or at least to me it seems like a huge cliffhanger or just a not good ending with no HEA. I am thinking this is a novel that ends with a bad no HEA ending, because it was First published as a five-part serial novel. Not being a big fan on the ending I give Anything He Wants a 1 star not good rating. Honestly if I would of been interested, paid no matter the amount and read all 5 installments, the 5th installment I would of been beyond upset and would want a refund. In the last installment #5 Betrayal the synopsis says “But happily ever after may be further than ever before”. So True. I am thankful I was given the opportunity to review this book free from the publisher because I would of been upset if I would of had to pay $9.99 for the kindle price which I think is bit to high for this novel. I still would of been mad if I had to pay any amount for this novel.

I love the synopsis of Anything He wants with a good, interesting storyline and I think it has potential if the writing was more in depth and if the ending was revised with HEA that continued with the exact last line with at least another chapter.

  1. YIKES!! I am definitely staying away from this one. I don't think I have given a book a 1 rating yet!! Some have come close but then redeemed themselves. I saw this book on NetGalley and it reminded me of Debra Anastasia's covers for Crushed and Bittersweet Seraphim. Thanks for the heads up!! Have a great weekend!! :)

    1. I have not read a book with a 1 rating yet. I have given 2 rating that are so-so for me. I was really into the last part and then it was getting even better and no kidding I read the last line and could not believe after that it says the end. I was like WHF. It does not even end with any characters dying. People are paying tons of money for each 5 installments and then pay a lot for just a e-book so the characters should have there HEA. It ends like there is another book coming after. If that was the case I would have like it. I read it towards the end a second time and feel maybe the reader has to guess of the chracters doing at the end. All the other covers have sexy covers and this has the feather no idead as not paranormal.

  2. I read the first installment in the book, and I didn't like it very much either....I also love a good story...and it just didn't click for me either!! I especially hate it when there isn't a HEA....that's why I read romance novels! LOL I surely hope your next read is much more enjoyable for you!!!

    1. I guess there is a second book to this. I would of been happy if on goodreads or Amazon if they would of put a series title with a number. I know usually Goodreads does and amazon sometimes does not. I do not mind reading chapter by chapter and spending the money but why do a 5 part then put into a book with bonus materials then decide the 2nd book will be just a novel. I guess I should of read the reviews before reading explaining how this is being done.

  3. Ouch! Erotica is hard to write because it straddles art and porn. There's a fine line dividing the two and the difference to me lies in the intensity of emotions. I didn't know this was a serial and probably that's the reason why it was choppy.
