Mary Whaley has her hands full running a successful catering company and overseeing her supper club. She's got everything she ever wanted--or so she thought. When she meets ridiculously hot and very dirty rock star Damien Hurley at her friend's engagement party, the attraction she feels is overpowering--and she isn't about to deny herself.

Damien is used to a hard and fast life. He and two of his brothers started a band when they were all in high school--then they hit the big time and stayed there. He's also a legendary madman on the stage and in the bedroom. But when he meets Mary, something clicks, and the bad boy starts thinking he may have finally found something good.

What begins as a series of fleeting trysts soon get much more complicated. Damien can't figure out why Mary doesn't want more from him. And before long it's Damien who wants more of Mary. But it turns out Mary is no stranger to the celebrity news and he's got a very big job ahead of him--proving that he's worth more than a one-night stand...

What I love most about Lauren Dane novels a side from the hottest sexual tension that leaves you hot and bothered, the scorching sex that is erotic and well written, is that she has characters that deal with real life issues that some one can relate to with having gone through it themselves. It is not always the main characters with issues, but sometimes it is the secondary characters. When it is the secondary characters with issues, it is their faults that effects the main characters that one can relate to.
Damien is your sexy tattoo-nipple pierced-dirty talking rock star hero who knows how to please a woman in the bedroom. He is use to woman who only want him for his money, rock star status and would give up anything to follow him. Mary is not like that all. She does not want him for his money or rock star status and will not follow him anywhere. She is into her career, does not want a relationship, but is all for friends with benefits with Damien. I loved how he did not push her into a relationship and took their friends with benefits status at her pace. He was sweet and thought of her likes. Instead of buying jewelry he bought her spices that he knew she would love to use. I loved Mary and not once did she try to play games with Damien she told him up front how she was. Loved how she was sexy and not shy in the bedroom.
Lush is book 3 in the Delicious series and I was not lost at all since I have not read the others. It will just make you want to go and read the others in the series to see how they all got their HEA.
